This is a building year for Passion for Africa. In addition to replacing several Board members who have retired and moved out of the area, we are also focusing on growing our organization and its potential for impact on the lives of lawful African immigrants and Africans, particularly children, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Planned Trip to Congo
Banda Mamoso will be leading a group going to Congo this June to encourage those working at our school and the church next to it. We will also visit a village whose school was destroyed by a violent storm to discuss assisting them in their rebuilding effort. Please consider donation to suppor this trip! Email to learn more.
Desk Drive
We are launching our Desk Drive on March 10. Consider giving $15 to provide a desk for a student in the Congo.
Board Members Sought
Board members Chip and Margi DeWitt, and Sam McGarvey have retired and moved out of the area. We are currently seeking replacements to fully staff our Board of Directors.
